Planning Your Trip to the Pacific Islands

The islands lie within three distinct areas known as Polynesia, Micronesia and Melanesia. For the traveler setting out to visit this storybook paradise, one of the most difficult decisions is where to go. There are over 20,000 individual islands spread over an area that is collectively known as Oceania.
